Soar with the hawks in warm thermal air currents. Or fly the cool ocean breeze in Malibu. Tandem flights are the easiest and safest way to experience the thrill of soaring. After a 10 minute briefing, the flight usually last between 20 minutes and 1 hour depending on weather conditions. Our pilots have thousands of tandem flights under their belt.

Anyone under 265 pounds can fly tandem, no experience necessary. An introductory tandem flight lets you fly the mountains right away without having to spend days preparing at the training hill. Most flights end on a sandy beach or open fields. **Note that temperatures at altitude may be quite cold even though the surface temperature is warm

Tips for Enjoying Your Tour

• Running shoes OK but hiking boots are preferable
  
• Sturdy pant, shorts are OK on some sites
  
• Wind breaker
  
• Gloves between November and April.
  
• You may bring a compact camera if you wish
  
• We also have room for a limited amount of luggage (a small day pack)
  
• Snacks are ok if we're expecting a long flight
  
• A helmet is provided by the school
• There is no age limitation but minors need to be accompanied by a parent

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Vouchers - when your booking is confirmed. Print both vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present these E-Ticket vouchers at the Tour Office.

Cancellation and Refund Information:

Confirmed online reservations canceled by the customer at least 48 hours prior to the trip date will be charged a $10.00 per person cancellation fee. Confirmed reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the trip date will be charged in full.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability.

If Uptimal cancels a trip for any reason, bad weather or inadequate load requirements, a 100% refund will be issued. Uptimal reserves the right to cancel any trip.

Uptimal assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road, incliment weather and other conditions beyond control.
