Our surf camp gives you an indepth surfing educational experience! Each student will learn actual California college level surfing formulas (ie. WIND + SWELL DIRECTION = where and when it's SAFE to SURF!).

Surf Camp Objectives:

This program is essentially the same surfing course we teach at the college level. The surf camp goal is to get each student to reach a safe surfing level whereby each student has an understanding of basic surfing techniques. I adjust the teaching methods accordingly but the end goal is the same....to get you surfing at a level where it is safe for you to practice on your own. We can rent you the surfboards and wetsuits from that point.

Surfing is a unique sensation, like no other experience you will ever have. Discover the wonders of wave walking in a safe and encouraging environment!

Upon completion of Surf Camp, students will be able to:

• Explain how tides impact waves
• Demonstrate surfing skills. Proper paddling methods, floating, escaping a rip tide, how to duck dive, how to turtle, how to pop up and more
• Analyze compostion of a wave...too steep or good degree of angle 67 degrees of angle or less for surfing and taking off on a wave
• Surfing safety rules and Etiquttes
• Surfing culture, history and enviromental impacts
• Oceanography, stingrays, jelly fish, dolphins, whales, seals and other sea life

Itinerary:

9:15 AM door to door pick up available

10:00 AM to 12:00 noon Surf instruction and surfing

12:00 noon to 1:00 PM lunch provided

1:15 to 2:00 PM surfing instruction

2:00 PM to 3:00 PM pick up or drop off to home, hotel or business

Hotel Pickup:

Upon request, Malibu Longboards will pick you up from your local hotel.

Payment:

Payment in advance by major credit card; Visa, American Express, Mastercard, or Discover Card.

Gratuities (15-20% reccommended) and Souvenirs are not included.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Vouchers - when your booking is confirmed. Print both vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present these E-Ticket vouchers at the Tour Office.

Cancellation and Refund Information:

Confirmed online reservations canceled by the customer at least 48 hours prior to the trip date will be charged a $10.00 per person cancellation fee. Confirmed reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the trip date will be charged in full.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability.

If Malibu Long Boards cancels a trip for any reason, bad weather or inadequate load requirements, a 100% refund will be issued. Malibu Long Boards reserves the right to cancel any lesson.
