Hear us! Red Line Tours offers you a 21st Century experience with the ultra high-tech 'Live Audio' hearing system. Each visitor wears a "walkman-like" headset receiver while your guide wears a headset microphone.   • Bradbury Building- Built in 1893 as a vision of the year 2000. Where 'Blade Runner' was filmed.
  • Broadway Dept. Store- One of LA's great department stores has a new life as a state office building rich with art.
  • Bunker Hill/Angels Flight- Bunker Hill has transformed from a Victorian-era residential community to a hill of skyscrapers.
  • Gas Co. Towers- A 52 story Post-Modernist high-rise designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (Sears Tower) with amazing interior spaces harking back to Rockefeller Center's layer slab design.
  • Library Tower- Designed by famed architect I.M Pei (Louvre pyramid) it is the tallest building west of the Mississippi.
  • Bunker Hill Steps- Designed by famed architect Lawrence Halprin - reminiscent of Rome's Spanish Steps.
  • Citicorp Tower- Made famous by 'LA Law' this building was designed by famed architect Cesar Pelli.
  • Bonaventure Hotel- An iconic statement by John Portman said to be something out of a Buck Rogers film.
  • Wells Fargo Plaza- Two prismatic towers designed by Skimore, Owings, and Merrill (Sears Tower) with a lavish 'winter garden' spaced between designed by Lawrence Halprin.
  • California Plaza- These two 52 story Post-Modernist towers are the most recent additions to the LA skyline.
  • Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)- An Arata Isozaki design of red Indian stone and undulating surfaces. The museum contains one of America's most important collections of contemporary artworks. The stairway was modeled after Marilyn Monroe's nude torso.
  • Coburn School - A postmodern structure that harks back to the Prairie Style and houses the historic Jascha Heifetz studio designed by Lloyd Wright. The Coburn School is one of America's premiere performing arts schools and a jewel in downtown's 'Cultural Corridor'.
  • Disney Hall- A whimsical Frank O. Gehry creation similar in design to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.
  • Los Angeles Music Center- Los Angeles' solution to New York's Lincoln Center. Home to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
  • Department of Water & Power- A Modernist design moated and wrapped in a forest of fountains.
  • Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels- The longest Cathedral in the US and new home of the archdiocese of Southern CA.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for no shows. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.
