Glide along with the hottest new trend in Southern California by joining a guided beach tour on the futuristic Segway Human Transporter. The wonders of Southern California beach life will be at your beck and call on this thrilling tour of two iconic Southern California locations: Santa Monica and Venice Beach.

Beginning with a brief Segway introduction and instructional session with one of the tour guides, you will soon hit the beach on your personal two-wheeled transporter.

A Segway experience is unique and fun - truly a one of a kind adventure.

 

If you are under 18 years old, you must weigh at least 100 lbs and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Activity not recommended for pregnant guests.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Box Office. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in and start your tour and training on time! If you arrive late we will NOT let you join a tour group that has already started training - Safety and complete training for all of our guests are our 1st priority.

What to Wear:

Comfortable closed toe flat shoes. No high heels, flip flops or sandals. Please leave bulky backpacks at home.

Helmets are provided and required.

You can bring your own bike helment(s).

Training and Rider Requirements:

Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike-it's intuitive but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. The tour time includes approximately 40-45 minutes of training and a short safety video. We will train until every member of the group is comfortable with the skills needed. Training time varies with group size and skill level.

Pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.

All guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without any assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail. You will be standing for 2 hours.

A Segway is not an ideal mode of touring for people with some mobility issues. Please call in advance if you have any questions.

Liability Agreement:
All customers will be required to review and sign our tour agreement and liability waiver before starting their tour. Segway LA and TourCorp, Inc. assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Changes to a Reservation, Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Reservations require a full deposit via Credit Card. Deposits are fully refundable if the reservation is canceled 3 days -72 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour. We have a limited amount of Segways for tour use. No Shows are charged in full. The deposit WILL NOT be refunded for any reason within 72 hours of your scheduled tour. A signed liability waiver is required prior to your tour departure.

IMPORTANT Check this Confirmation for Correct Date and Time:
It is your responsibility to be at the designated tour location on the correct date. Please check your confirmation carefully. No refund for no-shows and late arrivals. One printed voucher required for your entire group.

Tours and training are conducted in English.

Meals, Souvenirs and Gratuities:
Tour price does not include Meals, Beverages or Souvenirs. Gratuities for our tour leaders are appreciated.

Tour Size, Routing and Weather:
We reserve the right to change the size or routing of the tour to meet demands for that specific day. If seasonal fog or rainy weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered. You will not be charged if we cancel a tour.

Hotel pick up:
We do not offer Hotel Pick up service for this tour.
